Founder Paul J. Meyer introduction
Leadership Performance Group engages the globally proven approach of Leadership Management International—the world’s largest leadership development organization. Our unique process sets us apart by producing tangible, sustainable results that matter to organizations and individuals alike.
Here’s what makes us different—and what clients most often want to know when they’re first introduced to the LMI method through LPG.
LPG is not a training company based on traditional lectures, seminars, or quick training programs. We are not consultants either, as we believe you are the experts in your business. Instead, we help clients develop leadership skills and practically apply them through the proven LMI Concept.
We utilize a multi-sensory learning approach to foster changes and positive results in your life and business. We equip you with the tools and methods to boost productivity and leadership skills and coach you on how to apply them.
The LMI Concept and Process is built on the principle that the best way to learn is to do. We know that lectures and seminars don’t work as they are passive and theoretical. Our concept and process program helps you achieve transformational changes in personal development, teamwork, business, and leadership by encouraging you to apply what you have learned and practice spaced repetition.
The key to success is cultivating long-lasting changes. We achieve this through continuous coaching, which is conducted on-site in small groups where we engage in team dynamics to help you apply new knowledge and concepts to achieve fundamental transformations.
The length of our programs varies from 6 to 12 months depending on the type of program you choose, the results of the preliminary assessment, and the initial performance gap. We run bi-weekly sessions, which take 2-3 hours each, depending on the size of the group. All our sessions take place at our clients’ locations, which minimizes team downtime and eliminates travel expenses.
In addition, our programs include lessons taken outside of group sessions. We have developed our coaching programs with busy people in mind so that an average lesson outside classes is only 20 minutes.
We have several programs, each with a different focus to help you develop positive changes where you need them most. We have programs for personal development, team development, business development, women’s leadership, and a Total Leader program as well.
While our programs cater to different developmental and organizational needs, they have goals that are very much in common. They are aimed at demonstrating that small positive changes can have a huge impact. All of our clients who commit to working with us and actively participate in the LMI Process demonstrate notable improvements in their team and business performance, personal productivity, and leadership skills.
Leadership for Women is a focused development experience designed to help women strengthen their voice, elevate their presence, and lead with confidence. Through ten progressive phases, participants explore the connection between values, vision, and leadership identity—gaining tools to lead authentically and effectively.
The program begins with the Profile Evaluation System (PES)—a behavioral assessment that helps uncover individual strengths, motivational drivers, and key traits linked to leadership performance. This insight becomes the foundation for personal growth and practical development.
Leadership for Women supports participants in overcoming limiting beliefs, reshaping self-perception, and stepping into roles of greater impact—with clarity, intention, and influence.
The ONI is a work-smart tool that is unbiased, confidential, and provides a comprehensive diagnosis of an organization. The ONI measures your structure today compared to the ideal of tomorrow. This tool can help you effect productive changes so that everyone in your company is motivated and moving in the same direction.
Want to know your organization’s culture? ONI will give you The Organizational Needs Inventory® (ONI), allowing everyone’s input. It gives leaders a current picture of what the organization looks like in terms of its people and their perceptions. It sets a benchmark for the management team’s leadership and provides a clear measurement of success into the future.
The ONI is for Organizations whose leaders want to build a better environment for attracting and retaining better people, thereby achieving better operating results:
The ONI Report consists of an Executive Summary, Factor Scores, and Item Scores.
Executive Summary—Contains the major finding of the organization as perceived by the members of the organization.
Factor Scores—Focuses attention on scores for the specific group factors such as years with the company, gender, age, and position within the company, and includes suggestions to management as a basis for action.
Item Scores—Focuses attention on specific, concrete beliefs, perceptions, and practices.
The ONI is a survey and comprehensive report relating to three key areas for every organization. The survey is administered to a cross-section of the organization. The report measures participant feedback by how they currently view the organization and what their ideal view would be. It photographs the current organizational structure, leadership style, and organizational culture, allowing decision-makers to guide the organization. Responses are confidentially processed, and a comprehensive report is prepared, which pinpoints areas of concern.
The Development Needs Inventory was designed to help leaders understand their strengths and development needs better. This customizable assessment consists of 9 base and 6 optional scales. When combined with a facilitated interpretation and feedback session, the DNI results provide participants a sound basis for setting development goals and tracking developmental improvement over time. This information facilitates individual growth and progress, increasing the overall effectiveness of the organization.

The DNI was designed with the following objectives in mind to help leaders lead more effectively. Other objectives that support this primary objective:
The Development Needs Inventory ® (DNI) is a 360-degree instrument that is administered over the internet and designed to allow managers, supervisors, and others in leadership positions to better understand their strengths and development needs. Find it difficult to learn about an applicant’s abilities through their resume and interview? Our Profile Evaluation is your ultimate solution.
Our Profile Evaluation System enables you to know about the mental aptitudes and personality dimensions of the applicant, which play a major role in their work output and progress. Define the ideal talent sets you require, ask applicants or employees to complete the online assessment, and get detailed coaching, hiring, and personal reports. The Profile Evaluation System clearly identifies strengths and development needs. This not only helps you hire the right fit but also empowers you to assist employees to grow into the position to which they are best suited or most interested.

The Aptitudes section consists of six sections, each of which was designed to measure an aptitude important in job performance.
The personality structure is measured in accordance with the Bell Curve with one-third of the population in the 1-3 range, one-third in the 4-6 range, and one-third in the 7-9 range. There is no particular low or high. Instead, the level scored must be compared to the requirements of the job or the lifestyle.
The Distortion and Equivocation measurements are added to the instrument to assess the reliability and accuracy of the answers given by the individual completing the evaluation booklet.
People thrive when they are put in a comfortable environment and allowed to work and provide input on projects they are passionate about. Great managers create effective teams by having the intuition and foresight to put their employees in situations where they can learn, grow, and achieve their personal goals while simultaneously doing great work for their company. Too many companies throw their teams together without thinking about group dynamics or asking their employees for input regarding their tasks and assignments.

The Effective Team Dynamics program helps managers understand their teams and outlines proven methods for setting and achieving team goals.
The multi-phase Effective Team Dynamics program is designed to help both managers and team members begin to thrive in a learning environment and understand the five keys to team success by assuming responsibility and accountability.
Faulty communication and poor leadership are, unfortunately, the bane of many companies. Regardless of employee talent or product quality, if an organization’s leaders aren’t effectively communicating, managing, delegating, and increasing productivity, that organization will remain stagnant instead of moving forward toward its goals. Not only will products and people fail to reach their full potential, but the atmosphere, morale, and productivity of the organization will also suffer immensely. Talented employees may even become disgruntled and leave, while those who remain question the value of their work and the overall direction of the organization.
Thankfully, great leadership can be developed, and good communication can be taught. Any organization, no matter what their current situation, can be turned around and improved. The key to Effective Leadership Development lies in training and motivating people to a higher level of productivity.

“The LMI experience encourages and supports the articulation of a personal mission statement. Here is mine: to be a lead actor in the many roles I play in life and continually work at developing a better version of myself. I want others to be able to breathe a little easier because of my contribution.”
Founder Paul J. Meyer’s extraordinary life and legacy seem unlikely for a boy born into a poor immigrant family. Much of Paul’s childhood was spent working in the fields, orchards, and vineyards with other migrant workers. After a particularly grueling workday, young Meyer asked his mother, “Am I going to have to do manual labor all my life?” His mother’s insightful response profoundly influenced Paul’s life. She put her hands on her son’s head, looked straight into his eyes, and said, “You have everything right in here to do anything and be anything you want.”

People aren’t motivated to follow other people by the archaic notion of hierarchies, which is why the development of truly exceptional leaders who can effortlessly motivate others to follow them is of utmost importance. Great leaders are respected, revered, and admired, and people follow them because they want to, not because an organization chart says they have to.
